Why Watercolor?

Watercolor is a beautifully unpredictable medium, where water and pigment dance across the paper to create life. It is an adventurous pursuit, filled with both joy and creative frustration. Though I work with oils, pastels, inks, and pencils, none capture my true feelings quite like watercolor. For me, every brushstroke is a fresh discovery and a lifelong lesson in art.

About the Artist

My journey with art began in early childhood, sparked by a natural fascination with drawing and painting. This passion deepened during my high school years as I formally explored diverse mediums through various art classes, ultimately leading me to earn a B.A. in Painting alongside an M.A. in English Language and Literature.

Since 1994, my work has been showcased in over 30 galleries worldwide. Now based in Montreal, Canada, I describe my style as modern impressionistic with a touch of romance—a reflection of my belief that every brushstroke is a lifelong exploration of discovery and emotion.
